Pseudobombax Ellipticum - who knew!!!!!!!!!!

A friend saw this in Cuba recently and then my sister told me the name - since she had seen it in Cuba a few years ago. Psuedobombax Ellipticum. What a beautiful tree/flower. Also called "the shaving brush tree". Just gorgeous!

It blooms from March to May and blooms are white, near white and pink. Love the pink! :)

That is a totally gorgeous flower. Thanks for sharing. For some reason, it reminds me of a sesame street character.
