I was pleasantly surprised at how EASY these were to install. Just three clips screwed into the wall - the key is doing a great job on this part - and then you just snap the rod in, add the "vanes" and the valance, and away you go. They were about $40 and are plastic, but I really don't care. They do the job and work for me. They also really block out the sun fantastically so hopefully keeping the one shut during the day will keep the sun out and keep the joint cool. We'll put that one up tomorrow. :D

Vertical Blinds
I was pleasantly surprised at how EASY these were to install. It's true that vertical blinds are easy to install. I also like using vertical blinds because, not only does it block out the sun, it can also provide the privacy that I always wanted. And one more good thing about it is that I can choose any design I want.
