Hadn't been on Granville Mall for eons! As we crossed on Robson I looked south and thought "something is wrong here" - it just looked weird! Then I realized the trees were all gone! THEN I saw the tree stumps - what the hell is up with THAT! If you're going to chop the tree down why wouldn't you just chop the stump right to the ground. Holy cow - this looks so ridiculous!
And where the hell did the Capitol 6 theatres go!!!!?????
I really must get out more and see what's going on out there. :D

Oh man I don't like how they pruned those trees, that really looks bad. Yes it is amazing when you go downtown and really look around. Jenny
