Blogs are useful!

I was trying to remember when I bought my shower curtain and had no clue - then I remembered my blog - hahahaha. Great to keep a record of those IMPORTANT events in life - ROFL!

Went on an afternoon drive a few weeks ago. This is the Skytrain Bridge to Surrey with the Port Mann in the background.

Too busy working and just hanging out on Facebook. It's just easier, I guess, and everyone is there.

No one gives a shite about the blog. :)

Holy shite, I missed my bloggiversary!

Yep, it was a year ago on Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't post as often as I did initially, what with the surgery and working and everything, and how many pictures can I take down Oak Street!? :D

I shall endeavour to post more regularly. It's not that I don't want to, but I have so many other distractions. Two of the latest being Facebook (hanging with friends and family) and Twitter (just being a knob - hahahahahaha).

Thanks to everyone for the kind cards, well wishes, for the two lovely plants, the food basket, and the several Starbucks cards! You are too kind!

I will take the option of watching my little Skytrain video - and it'll be a long time before I go for a ride on it if the traffic is this bad to get on! Holy cow! :D

Eagles....

These are in downtown Vancouver - more of the "Eagles in the City" project to raise money by the Lions Club of BC. You can also buy chocolate eagles for $10 each - 100% of proceeds go to children with disabilities. They would be a great gift, I think. :D

Not much new...

Poured buckets this evening. Then the sky was a wild yellow-orange in the west. Tried to capture it, but it's a bit lacking. It looked pretty good at the time. You had to be there. :D

Still recuperating at home. Can't drive for another week. Went for a walk in Steveston on Thursday morning. Saw this heron. We were way up on the pier and he was way down there, but he seemed afraid as we got closer. Which was pretty funny. He's cute - love the tracks in the sand....

Still here....

Had to have some surgery last week. Recovering at home. Hope to get back out and about and get some more shots of the locale. :)

Neighbour's Flowers

Where the hell have I been?

Love these flowers on Minoru Blvd across from Cronos Restaurant. Have to say I'm not impressed with their lasagne! Pizza was ok. Anyway, the flowers were the best thing about going to Cronos. :)

Still blogging - nearly a year!

Just been busy at work. Still taking pictures, but recently mostly of folks. Took some of flowers around our complex.

Love the Brilliant Colours of Nature.....

Captured at the Richmond Community Garden at the far west end of Westminster Highway. I love taking close-ups. They look so huge, and most times they are just so tiny. Great fun! Jenny and I went last evening.
